Supporter takes fundraising to new heights for cancer care

A local fundraiser has taken fundraising to new heights after completing an incredible wing walk to raise money for the Delamere Cancer Centre, which supports people affected by cancer.

On 6 August, Mike Rudin took to the skies for the unforgettable challenge and raised an incredible £1,515.

The Delamere Cancer Centre provides information, advice and support to people affected by cancer. Based at Halton Hospital, the centre offers a welcoming and supportive space for patients, families and loved ones throughout their cancer journey.

Speaking about his fundraising, Mike said: “It was amazing! I am so chuffed.”

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Mike for taking on such an incredible challenge and choosing to support the Delamere Cancer Centre.

His fundraising will help make a real difference to people affected by cancer in our local community.
