ABB Group volunteers help care for Warrington Hospital’s Forget Me Not Garden

Friday 9 October 2026

Colleagues from ABB Group have volunteered their time to help maintain the Forget Me Not Garden at Warrington Hospital, keeping the space welcoming for patients living with dementia.

The team got stuck in with weeding, tidying and general garden maintenance, giving the garden some much-needed care and attention.

The Forget Me Not Garden provides a quiet outdoor space for patients living with dementia. Looking after the garden helps ensure it remains a pleasant and welcoming place for patients, their families and those supporting them.

Warrington and Halton Hospitals’ (WHH) Charity would like to thank everyone at ABB Group for giving their time and supporting the charity’s work.

Helen Higginson, head of fundraising at WHH Charity, said: “We’re really grateful to the team at ABB for giving their time to care for our Forget Me Not Garden. These spaces can make a real difference to patients and their families, and having the support of local businesses helps us keep them welcoming and well cared for.

“Volunteering is a great way for businesses to support their local hospitals, bring colleagues together and make a practical difference to patient care. We’d love to hear from other businesses who are interested in getting involved.”
